In early July Dan was sighted at the wedding of one of his former football teammates and his fiancé in a black tuxedo and sheet music in his hand. Hours before the ceremony people heard him practice several songs inside an old cathedral in Ingelheim by Mainz, Germany, where he was preparing a little performance with four other musicians that were asked to play and sing at the wedding. The ceremony itself was closed to the public, but the couple and the many guests when asked spoke of an outstanding performance. Dan himself did not say anything about the performance aside from him being happy that the couple enjoyed it just as much as Dan enjoyed singing and performing on the piano. In a welcoming reception Dan caught up with his former football teammates. The mysterious woman that accompanied him in the sports bar during the World Cup final was with him after the wedding; she has been identified as Kendra A., a Chicago native and scientist teaching in Iowa. Later that day the two were spotted in the local water park downtown Mainz. Further news about the two have not been revealed.
