Collaborating with Latin Shooting Star
After successfully finishing the recordings of “Lascivious Girl” Dan heard of the young and talented Latin artist Benny Alvarez, with whom he wanted to work together immediately. “Benny is one of the most talented artists I’ve ever met, I just got to work together with this guy,” Dan said in early May 2013, when the two were hitting the studio for their Latin Dance Pop song “Verano Torrido.” For the recordings they were accompanied by the famous Latino Band “Copacabana Social Club” from Cuba that provided their artistic skills to make “Verano Torrido” the great song it eventually became. Stay tuned for it to be released soon and jam, dance, and sing along to a sexy and hot mix of dance, house, salsa, and pop complemented by Dan’s raps and the outstanding voice of Benny Alvarez.
After the collaboration Dan has been announced the producer for Benny’s next single “Crazy,” which was first recorded in German, but is to be recorded in English and Spanish as well before eventually being released and airing worldwide.
Dan is currently working on another production together with his good friend Anna Volodarskaya, conductor for the Women’s Chorus of the University of Wisconsin. “I am excited to work on this song together with Anna,” Dan stated after their first meeting of setting up the song’s concept, “because she is an outstanding artist and brought amazing ideas to the table the first time we got together to work on the song. I’m impressed not only by her skills on the piano but also her creative mind, so it will be a great collaboration with a great result, that I am sure of.”
In late 2013 people rumored further that Dan is also working on new projects, for instance a possible collaboration with the Latin pop star Arnold Gonzales as well as producing a mixtape for Houston rapper Cliff Kanu. Unofficial sources spread also word of a new single titled “Take It to the Sky.” As Dan is known, however, there may be a certain truth to it, busy and focused as he is.
