In mid-October Dan and a few of his academic colleagues went to a conference on Transnational Studies hosted by the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz to hear and meet president Obama's sister Auma, who gave and inspirational speech on the heart of personal progress and her ventures at "Sauti Kuu." After the speech Dan got a chance to exchange a view words with the keynote speaker and amazed by the encouraging performance he informed Dr. Obama to derive his next blog post from her inspiring words. Further Dan was happy to purchase a copy of her newly published autobiography, which, to his amazement, had been published originally in German. He said after the conference that Dr. Obama was one of the most inspiring and authentic figures he had ever seen. "I was impressed and moved by her speech, awesome performance by a really powerful woman."
